The Connecting US 20 Team

Connecting US 20 is a team effort. Without the help and support of many people we would not be able to do this project.

Our team leader is Sal Strom, Artist and Multicultural Anthropologist. Her vision and artistic talents are the driving force behind Connecting US 20. To learn more about Sal and her artistic history, check out her CV or visit her personal website.

Lynn Moyers, our TechnoDoc will be documenting the trip and keeping us on track. Lynn’s background in project management, electronics, and digital arts will be enable us to record our journey in multiple mediums. As we travel he will be posting daily on our blog  and on our Facebook page.

Our spiritual collaborator was one of the best promoters of community ever. She was Amazing Gracie, Gracie Strom. Her quirky joy and zest for living was contagious. Gracie was the owner of the world famous Sea Hag and Sal’s mom! Here is Gracie playing the bottles, something she did for nearly 50 years to thrill and amuse her customers:
Portland producer, composer, and playwright Alan Alexander III created a theme song for the journey. The maestro’s song was played before and during our art events and is the audio layer for our Connecting US 20 video.
